I heard today that the Abracadabra Island zine by myself and Jonny Costello has been accepted as part of the Tate Gallery’s Rude Britannia exhibition at Tate Britain from 9th June – 5th September. The book will be exhibited in the British Comic Art area of the show, something we’re really excited about.
The same title is also going to be exhibited and sold at this years Tokyo Art Book Fair organized by ZINE’S MATE which runs from 30th July – 1st August in Shibuya and Chiyoda. Last years show was an amazing with over 8,000 visitors and 150 exhibitors, including Nieves, Paperback, Printed Matter, Daiwa Press, Taka Ishii Gallery and Motto.
